Gravity and
Space
Homepage
Greetings...Thank you for visiting Gravity and Space.
This website offers a somewhat unique perspective on the fundamentals of nature.
The four interrelated topics featured here are Light, Matter, Gravity and Space:
(1) GRAVITY--(Sections 1 through 5) This features some of my ideas about gravity; and
includes an overview of classical and alternative theories of gravitation...via hyperlinks.
(2) LIGHT--(Section 6) This features a model for absorption and emission of light within an
atom. This model proposes that light quanta are absorbed and emitted by the binding
energy
of the atom.
(3) MATTER--(Section 7) This imagines all basic particles as soft fields; and considers
some implications of 'soft particles'; also, there are some 'closing remarks' attached to this
section.
(4) SPACE--(Section 8)--Some unusual thoughts on the creation, expansion, and physical
consistency of Space; includes several interesting related websites...via hyperlinks.

The ideas and models presented here are based on discoveries in modern physics.
However, this is a non-mathematical approach that might better be described as
'philosophy' rather than 'physics'. Although these ideas are simple and easy to grasp, they
involve an overlapping of various concepts; due to the overlapping parameters of nature.
Hence, I have tried to organize these concepts in separate sections on this website...with
links in between to produce the overall conceptual picture.
I hope you enjoy this website. --Peace...R.Vanclaren--

What holds us to
the ground?
Maybe the best way to view the gravity sections is to take the
sections in order--beginning with Section 1..The Riddle of Gravity>>
Gravity Section Contents...(Sections 1 through 5.)

1) The Riddle of Gravity...This is a glimpse at some classical ideas
about gravity from Newton and Einstein. Is it possible that two such
contrasting views could both be correct?

2) The Universe...This describes a simple model of the universe from
which the 'new' ideas of gravity (presented here) have evolved. A unique
feature of this model: the magnetic field is independent in space.

3) Gravity Potential...Here we look at the relationship between space
and matter. It is this relationship that gives an object its potential for
gravity (according to our model of the universe.)

4) Gravity at Work...It takes two (or more) material objects to really
define gravity. Here we look at the relationship between objects and
describe our version of how gravity works.

5) The Litmus Test...This is a appendix. Here I try to explain the
reasoning for proposing that a magnetic field fills all space. Also a
possible way to test this proposition. This section also includes a
Conclusion...sort of a wrap-up for this edition.

Geosite Folder...This is just for fun...an expose' of some geometric space
enclosures that I built in the '70s.
6) Light...This includes a model for atomic light emission and absorption
...also two short essays; one questioning the popular conception of
an
electron emitting a photon
. The other: "Viewing a Photon as an Event."

8) Space...This features an alternative model for the observed expansion of
space...(different from the Big Bang Model)...
galactic centered expansion.
7) Matter... Here we think of all 'fundamental particles' as "soft"--highly
condensed electromagnetic fields. We also consider a 'new' nuclear model.
